Some russian romhacker made one of the best genesis hacks ever
by adding every MK2 fighter to UMK3. (he also added goro btw)
however the rom needs a special version of GENS to run. (wont even run on my xbox with NeoGenesis)
so i was curious if this rom will run on a real Genesis,
because if it does i will sooo get myself a Flash card.
cant test it out myself cause my Smartbross copier is only 32M.
(anyone ever upgraded a smartbross copier to 64m?)
anyhoo here's the site i found the info on, with a little reading
it will be very easy to find the rom from there.
(dont want to link to it in case its not allowed)
oh yeah he also made a hack of MK2 genesis and added all the missing
voices and made the bosses and secret characters playable,
very cool stuff, he even managed to add mk1 stages into mk2.
So if anyone could see if this runs on real hardware i'd very gratefull.

I dont have my MD-Pro and Genesis handy but if this game requires a special emulator to run and will not run off a normal emultor then you have answered your question. Emulators "emulate" a normal system. I can guarantee it will not work, as the "Gens32 Surreal v1.64 SE" emulator has built-in code to make this game run. Nice hack though! Interesting to play! |

Looks very interesting though I think he should have hacked the 32X MK2 instead. ;p So much better. I'm gonna try out both hacks. |
