Just out of question, I had discovered this site not long ago and was thrilled that game doctors are still available (I thought all vendors had been extinguished). Anyway, I would really like to buy the sf7; I know all about the functionality, how it is used, etc, although I do not know if 128MB of RAM is worth the cost. I do intend on playing Star Ocean as I am a fan of the game but I do not know if the extra 32MB would make a noticeable playing difference. Would I be able to get away with just buying the 32MB sf7 with the 64MB added? Would 96MB be all that is and ever will be needed for Star Ocean or many other games/projects that are currently out? If not, where does the extra RAM have an advantage (specifics on why I should ever need 128)? Any help would be appreciated. |

Well, since there are no 128 meg games, the only advantage is that you can store more games in the memory and have more available without having to re-load them. You can load multiple games into the SF7 and since it uses an external power supply, it will keep them in memory even when the SNES/SFC is shut off. |
