I am totally interested in buying a setup so I can play Super Mario World hacks. For those not familiar check out smwcentral.net for info. Anywho, has anyone done this specifically? The super mario world rom the ips patches are applied to is the first version of the US cart. I have a Super Famicom I bought in Japan and a first-gen Super NES. So I need the SuperFlash and what else? I see the writer has parallel port and usb on it. I can use either one?

As mentioned in the info for the product, the flash cart gets power from USB and data via parallel. You'll need both.
