i have a PAL SNES modded with a 50/60Hz switch... do i need the extra chip in the flashcard or not?

also do the translated roms of

bahamut lagoon
seiken densetsu 3
romancing saga 3
thales of phantasia
and the various final fantasy games work?

anything else that i should know before buying?
