Nobody can make the interface now because MKE isn't documented online. It probably wouldn't be terribly hard to figure out for someone very experienced that can understand the SF7 BIOS, but nobody has bothered to reverse engineer it so far, it's really just not worth it.
The basis of an adapter would likely be a microcontroller and latches though. The latches to interface the 8-bit MKE to 16-bit IDE and the microcontroller to translate MKE commands to IDE however it needs them. |

I think he's thinking of the interface that allows the MKE drives to be used on the SF7s. |
