Ok, I finally did it. I got my Disk Dual with the Compact Flash to IDE adaptor inside with a removeable Compact Flash! It was difficult, but the results look and work great.

Again, here is the Compact Flash to IDE adaptor that I bought at Fry's:

So I opened up the Disk Dual, removed the rack that holds the CD/HD drives
and the metalic part that holds the rack and the front face together. I then cut some of the plastic from the face as shown here:

I also had to modify the rack that holds the CD/HD drives because it was obstructing the CF2IDE adaptor from accessing the modded Disk Dual face cut out. Here is a pic of the Disk Dual with CF2IDE adpator + 2gb CF card installed inside the case (the CF2IDE adaptor is held down with double stick tape):

Unfortunately, the IDE cable that is included in the Disk Dual wasn't long enough to connect to the CF2IDE adaptor when the CF2IDE adaptor was installed after I modded the CD/HDD rack/face, so I had to buy this weird IDE extender from Fry's as shown here:

Here is my SNES setup after all was said and done (with my GDSF7 + CD7 setup next to it, waiting for the 64mb memory upgrade I ordered from tototek):

The hardest part was modifying the metal on the CD/HDD rack to allow the CF2IDE adaptor to go as far forward as possible. For this, I had to cut the metal with a dremel, and flaten it out.

Really cool mod. Congrats! To make it look absolutly 'l33t' you need to change from the SNES to the SFC. The Wildcard will fit much tighter on the SFC.
