You probably don't have a MULTI-GD index file.

You aren't going to get one unless you can both disassemble the BIOS and understand the uPD765 floppy controller, so how about that index file?

I know a few of them so far:

E2 - cannot find the correct file
E8 - error in the index file, 'MULTI-GD'
E10 - cannot find index file

I think E4 means there is something wrong with the floppy you are loading. I think my MGD2 floppy drive is bad or going bad because unless I hold the MGD2 up in the air at a certain angle, I get an E4

MGD2 error code:
E1: error in disk format
E2: cannot find the required file
E3: incorrect file length
E4: error in disk (bad disk?)
E8: error in the index file, 'MULTI-GD'
E10: cannot find the index file, 'MULTI-GD'
E14: disk index full, cannot write new file
E15: insufficient disk space for writing new file
EIF: error in verification

Regards,
rocco
