|
|
I'm very new to this game doctor stuff, so i was just wondering if the Game Doctor SF7 will fit on my U.S. console. From pictures I've seen every game doctor is attached to a Japanese or Pal console. I was just wondering because my console takes rectangle cartridges (not curved).
thanks in advance. |

Yes it will fit in but it won't be very stable, you'll need to slide something like a thin book underneath it. Originally they came with little pegs that fit into the screw holes to support it on a NTSC SNES. |

I've noticed mine is slightly wobbly, but I've never needed the support of anything to hold it in the correct position. Mileage varies, obviously. However, most folks have needed this support that I know of, so I'm probably in the minority.

If you replace the GDSF7's CIC with a PAL CIC, yes. |

replacing the CIC doesn't involve software. It's a hardware chip.
GDSF7 is a bit wobbly on a USA SNES (even worse with a GDSF3). |

You can buy self-adheisive rubber feet in the hardware section at your Local Fred Meyer, Wal Mart or whatever.... or you can buy them online. Often times they'll be in the same section as rubber bumpers for cabinet doors.
