Hello, I just got my Super Flash Cart in the mail yesterday and I have a problem. I tested it after I put my CIC chip in it and the preloaded games worked fine but when I try to put my own games on it it freezes at 40000 in the progress bar (I have a picture of it to show what I am talking about) My printer port is set to EPP and after it freezes if I try to play the game only the Multi-Game Menu comes up but it has NO games listed. I have tried flashing different games with the turbo on and off and I still get the same error. The cables I have I purchased from you with my Super Flash kit. Please help this is very frustrating and I do not know what else to do.

What happens when you try to dump ("Backup Card Rom") the contents of flash cart? Also, do you have any SNES games that you can try dumping? If they successfully dump, then you can (hopefully) rule out the programmer/cables being the problem.
If you can't successfully dump any carts, try another straight through parallel cable. Also, try the programmer on another computer. Maybe you're parallel port is running in some emulated EPP mode?
Hopefully you'll find a solution. |
