hi, i tried to crack with the -k command of ucon64 the donkey kong 2 usa rom, but the game don't save (at off-on of snes the save disappear), I tried even with the -l command to remove SlowROM checks (11 pattern found) but after this the game plays slow and at the end of stage game freeze, tried even with the --chk command for checksum correction, same as before.

how i can make a rom that save correctly? thanks Wink

The problem is either SRAM protection or NTSC/PAL protection. Do not use the SlowROM fix because it's definitely not needed.

Are you using a PAL console?

If not, then the code is certainly checking for SRAM size. I'm surprised uCON64 can't crack it with -k.

Open your game image, search "31 02 0C 01", replace it with "31 02 0C 07"
Then Donkey Kong 2 can save on Super Flash Cart.

* It is not fully tested, I tested it in the first save point. It can save and reload. And I beleived it had been fixed.

For DK3, it is same. Open your game image, search "31 02 0C 01", replace it with "31 02 0C 07"
Then Donkey Kong 3 can save on Super Flash Cart.
