Hi,

I bought a MD-PRO months ago I just love it! Now I'm trying to figure a way to create new cheat codes for some games ...

I'm using GENS and coded a simple program to compare savestates files. So, for instance, I've found some addresses for the "Sonic 1" game:

Savetate file Offset (decimal); 68k Ram offset (decimal) ; what it registers
74378 ; 65042 (-0x2478 or -9336) ; Lifes
74393 ; 65057 (-0x2478 or -9336) ; Coins

Now my question: Is it possible, using this information, to create a cheat code for use with the DreamWriter ? I've tried using the 68k Ram offsets (hex format) as a "M68K PAIR CODE" with no luck :S

I'd love to hear some tips about how this cheat function works.

Thanks
Nino

i was trying to get them to work on the flash cart also and had no luck.

i ended up getting a genesis/megadrive action replay on ebay to enter codes that works nice.
i wish i could get the games to work with the codes on the flash cart.... :\

i cant get the sega master system to work also. the bad thing is the mater system flash cart will not work with a real action replay
so i am out of luck with that one. Sad
