I would like to know what were the prices for new backup units in former times?
Found some adverts in German video game magazine. There were only adverts for three months in Summer 1993. Then they abolished them due to legal rights.
Here are some examples:
Super Drive Pro 6 425$
Magic Game Hunter 393$ - 515$
Multi Game Doctor 2 425$
Super Pro Fighter Q 352$
Super Magic Drive 352$ - 406$
Super Magic Com 412$
Game Doctor SF2 351$
Super Com Partner 351$
Neo Geo backup unit 1126$
The price for Super Nintendo including Super Mario World was in Germany in that time 182$.
Additionally i uploaded some backup unit adverts from German video games magazine.

Come on guys. A little bit more action. I just want to know what did you pay for a new copy station.
I think Super Wild Card DX2 came out in 1996 and cost about 350$. The prior version also cost 350$.
I know one guy who paid over 550$ for a backup unit. |
