Has anyone ever gotten a write protect message when trying to format a disk with their DPF? I'm trying a new floppy drive but all I get is write protect message.. does it have something to do with the disk itself? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Maybe this is a jack-ass question, but is your disk write-protected?

Yeah it is a jack-ass question and I already checked that. It doesn't matter where the tab is positioned. Beginning to think this DPF is toast.
