I hooked up my programmer with flash cart with a DB25 male/male parallel cable and also with a USB cable. I downloaded Superflasher 2.34 and also put a bunch of .smc files in the Roms folder. Basically I can't get it to work at all, its like it doesn't even know the programmer is connected. I tried selecting all 4 different printer ports in the setup but it didn't work on any of them. I'm running XP.

I'm not a computer expert by any means and I was hoping the super flasher would be pretty simple to use. Can anyone let me know if there is something else I need to do to get it to work? I bought it used but it was in the original packaging and the guy I got it from said he had a Mac and never used it because it wouldn't work on a Mac. Thanks

Luke

Is your parallel port set to EPP mode? Check it in the BIOS.

I've gotten my programmer to work on my desktop, but the bios settings were simple and straight forward. It was EPP or ECP and I set it for EPP. My laptop only has ECP, PS/2, and AT in the bios. Which of these settings do I use?

Thanks
