I bought a blue DSP adapter for a Game Doctor SFVI. Unfortunately I received the adapter broken.
A small piece of electronic parted from the pcb. Could anyone tell me how to fix this issue, please?
Here is a photo of my DSP adapter including that electronic piece:

Hi system64,
The part is a small capacitor. I don't know this adapter myself but the capacitor looks like it might fit between some IC pins somewhere on the solder side of the pcb.
The photo is not detailed enough to see if there is a likely spot where it should go.
Did you test the adapter without the capacitor? It might not be a critical part.
Some super detailed seperate photos of each IC's bottom pins might help to give a clue. A photo of the component side also might help.

| It would be very nice if someone could open his own DSP adapter an make a photo of the PCB. That would be much easier for me.

| They are hard to take apart without breaking the tabs on the sides. I took one apart and the tab broke, I recently glued it back together otherwise I'd help you.

I'm sure you're not buy it from tototek. If buy from us, it will not like this.
Take care, the capacitor 100p, one pin connect to DSP Pin 25, another pin connect to the pin next to DSP Pin 1. (It is not DSP Pin 1)

Tomy, thank you very much. I've soldered it back in its place.
I've got the DSP adapter with an old Game Doctor SFVI. It's my first SNES copier. Unfortunately the Game Doctor seems to be broken. I need to switch it on off several times before I get a picture. Most time the picture is distorted. I tried a system check, but the unit crashes during the RAM test. However it worked for one time. It's equipped with 2x 16M RAM boards and a citizen floppy.
Actually I'm not sure if the problem is the Game Doctor, the DSP adapter or probably even the SNES. I have the 1chip model, PAL with 50/60hz and region lockout switches.

I disassembled the whole unit and did a rebuild part by part. I finally figured out that the floppy drive is broken. I replaced it with the floppy drive of my PC. The Game Doctor is working now, as well as the DSP adapter
edit: Unfortunately the real time save feature does not work properly. I tried several games (Super R-Type, Battletoads, Mario World), but the screen turns black or the graphics are messed up when I save. Is my unit broken or is this a common problem?

You can try selftest function from your SF6. If it pass, I don't think its real time save feature broken. As I know, SF7 real time save feature is better than SF6.
If only the games you listed have problem with real time save, it is normal. But if all games have real time save problem, then it should be some problem with your SF6. Or it is your SNES problem. (your snes is clone ? original is not 1 chip version)

I tried it again, today. Real Time Save works without any problems now. selftest reports OK.
I remember that the unit was very hot the last time I used it. Probably that caused problems.
Anyway thank you very much for your help.
btw, my SNES is revision SNSP-CPU-1Chip-01. It combined PPU1 and 2 in a single chip and was built around 1995. Here is a scan of the mainboard:
