maybe it can be done with the cart slot on the genesis?
and work the same way the pce-pro works when using cheats with pce-cdrom games.

Or perhaps even just one that could edit the save games ala Game Guru. Even that could be helpful.

Forgive my ignorance, but what is Game Guru. Is it a peripheral for the sega CD of some sort?

Also, I too have often wanted a cheat device for Sega CD...sure would be sweet!
