| Is it possible to install a DPS chip on a early rev. super magicom?..I mean by wiring a chip from scratch, or is there some incompatibility with the board?... |

| Have you tried just putting a DSP cart on top of it to see if it works with other DSP games? |

Yeap tried, no go.
Games do boot with a cart on top, but the DSP grahics of the games aren't there during game play . |

Definitely no.
I wired a SNES DSP1 game board to the SMC board (removed the rom), and now floppy DSP games do boot but with some glitches, probably there's a signal in the wrong spot.
It is as if the DSP graphics were overclocked or something of that nature, they seem to move much faster than the rest of the game.
Maybe the Hi-rom fix mod that I did to it is causing the issue, since I have to use the DOS loader every time..
non-DSP games work just fine with this DSP board attached, so no problem there..
