Yeah I figured out that I needed to use snestool to make it nstc from pal.

You didn't "make it nstc from pal". You have disabled the code that checks on what kind of SNES it runs. Terranigma contains a region protection that checks whether it runs on a PAL SNES and stops the game if the test fails.
