|
|
Hey, I'm new here, and I don't quite know if I am posting this in the correct area, please forgive me if I am not. And thanks Tomy for the flash card and everything .
Some laptops have Paralell ports built into their video cards and they have different port numbers other than the ones you can choose from in the dreamwriter software. You should let users specify the port number with a textbox so that they can choose whichever port they want. As for now, I have just looked at the ini file and saw that the data for which port to use was in there. If I changed that to what port I want to use, would that work? Replys would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Josh. |

What port address you're using now ? DreamWriter can set different port address from setup icon. |

Thanks for poking around with the ini, jjftails35. To answer your question, yes changing that to your LPT port will definately work. I use a non-standard LPT port address (0xeff0) because I use a PCI parallel card. Setting the first line to "eff0" worked like a dream. |
