Out of interest, when we say the parallel cable must be "straight through" do we mean the pinout would be mirrored on the other end of the cable or the same because mine is mirrored Confused

Well I tried ucon64, snestool and VGS and all hang when trying to transfer, I have to forceably close the dos box (this is in win95). The port it's using corresponds with what the bios says.

uCon64 seems to support transfer of ROMs over to the Supercom Pro.1 and it does have a com i/o on the back, yet when I try it, ucon64 just sits there telling me it's transferring and the Supercom does ...

I'm not aware if you can do this in hardware, I don't think so.

You can do this to individual roms though with SNESTOOL, not that I've needed to myself.

As above, works 100%, needs new battery. Old battery was removed and board cleaned. Just needs soldering in if you want to save your games.
