For Sale.......
10x ic chips DM74LS244N-ND (brand new,sealed) Very hard to get hold of now... that are required to make interface boards (to The Dumpers instructions) to make a CD7 clone external cd drive units..... to interface with the GDSF7.

Price is GBP £20 for all 10 (this includes p/p +airmail) (paypal only)

I payed GBP £28 (per 10 off) just for the IC's from Digikey U.S.A. when they were plentyfull Rolling Eyes
Check their price cateloge now and if you can still get them i will better their price by a margain Surprised

That's a shame about Digikey but to tell the truth, 244 are one of the most common 74 series chips in existence and numerous manufacturers still make them. Sure Digikey may not have that EXACT 74LS244 in stock, but of course they still have truckloads of other 74LS244s which are all suitable. It's not like DM74LS244N-ND have Bung provenance either, everyone just uses whatever chips are on hand. Next time I would look to Jameco first, they even have 74ACT244 which are of a superior logic family to 74LS (not that it makes any difference in this application) quite reasonably: click.
