|

Hi All,
Great to see a community dedicated to copiers.
Okay...I have the following:
PAL SNES on PAL TV,
SWC sms3201,
Super UFO DRIVE PRO 6
Honey Bee NTSC-PAL Converter
PAL Carts
This is the problem:
I have read numerous places that to get one of these copiers (SWC and UFO) to work with the PAL SNES you have to put a PAL game on top of it and put it directly on the SNES. Well this doesn't work for me! I get a black screen!
To make these 2 copiers work and display the menu, I have to use the honey bee converter by:
-Putting the pal game on back of the honey bee
-Putting the copier ontop of the honey bee
-Plug into the PAL SNES and then put a put a book or something underneath the copier because it has become like a tower now!
From here, it is fine. But then another issue occurs:
If I try to play NTSC-JAP game, I get the "region error message" on the TV. So what it seems like to me is that both copiers are not disabling the lockout chip!?
So I pose question to you all:
1. Do I have to disable the lockout chip in the PAL SNES to get the copiers working without the honey bee converter?
2. Will I have to use UCON64 to region fix my JAP NTSC games to work with the copiers?
Thanks guys! |

| If memory serves me, for that copier you would have to take the NTSC CIC from the copier and replace with a PAL CIC...or disable your lockout as mentioned. |

Thanks, so is there a guide on how to replace the cic in the swc and UFO pro 6?
Also, what about ucon64? If I manage to change the region of the pal snes or the pal copier, would I have to region fix the NTSC games in ucon64?
Cheers |
