I was given an opportunity to write an article about copiers in a French retro mag:
http://www.editionspixnlove.fr/

It just got published a couple of days ago.
They asked me to send the article + original pics of my own a few months ago.
To my surprise (deception), most of the pics published are not mine but taken off the web, some we all know for years...it's all the more surprising that I could have provided everything they needed and I did with the help of kyuusaku, but well...it's out now.

My biggest disappointement is they forgot to mention the credits though I insisted a couple of times.

So here I take this space to do so and extend all my gratitude and apologies to the owners of the pics, members of tototek and cherryroms, and especially a huge thanks to kyuusaku for providing so many answers over the years.

I don't blame the guys at Pix'n Love since they're a small team and they're doing a fantastic job with their "mook". They've been rushed with the publication of this #15.
Overall I'm satisfied a mag finally made a topic about copiers considering it's never been properly done in Europe to my knowledge (sensitive topic back in the days), so thanks again guys! Wink

About the article...well, I had a lot to say, but it had to be accessible for those not familiar with these machines so I did what I could over 8 pages. There's probably a lot more to tell but you all know that Very Happy

Here are some pics taken from their site:

For those willing to get a copy, you can order the mag online but it's in French and I'm not sure it'll get published in English. I'll post a translation here if some of you are interested.

I introduce the article on the scene and BBS. They put a pic from the Assembly and a BBS snapshot.
