Change the voltage regulator but null....
Ok I remove the Altera Chip and the value of the voltage regulator are perfect !!!!!!

Hi,
Yes I understand that the chip is programmable, but I have to do myself or does so as soon as I get there?

You'd have to program it, or have someone else do it, with the correct program for your device.

| If the chip is overly hot then that's the end of it, the "fusemap" (programming data) necessary for programming new chips is not attainable.

The fuse map is protected. So, even you have another working one. You can not read the fuse map out. If you don't have V64jr fuse map file, then you can not program this Altera chip.
I hear people say can use PVBackup fuse map file (long time ago). But I'm not sure if need to modify the source a bit or not.

Hello guys,
After a while I got the 'USB Blaster, and after downloading 2.7 GB of Altera SW I started to connect everything to my Doctor V64 ...
SW used:
Quartus II Web Edition Software Version 11.0 for Windows
HW used:
USB BLASTER
As you will see photos from the recognition of the device is OK, and sees well my Doctor V64, the question now is how do I take the code inside the chip and place it on a new chip?

Save option is not there, something wrong?

Hi,
I have contact the Altera for this problem, but the respons is:
----------------------------------------
" Hi Federico,
while the project you are doing is interesting, but I can't get your question clearly. what do you mean by transfering the chip contents to another one? which chip you are referring to? if you mean MAX device, the contents was locked inside the device and there is no way you can retreived this data.
regards,
Farabi "
----------------------------------------
finally I can't get the code inside the Doctor V64 chip... ...
ideas?????
thanks.

| CPLDs/FPGAs in commercial products are usually locked to prevent you from reading them - it's a way to keep pirates from making knock-offs. There's nothing to be done if the chip is locked.
