Is there any way to make these puppies (SMD & SMD+) work through and with the Sega Game Genie enhancer device with codes and all?.

When connected together all I ever get is a blank screen, what's the reason behind this and is there a possible fix?. Confused

If it is anything like snes copiers, no. You'd need to enter the game genie code within the genesis copier's gui or use a utility to apply the code to the bin file. I haven't use a genesis copier before but I doubt a genesis game genie will be compatible with one.

No it won't work.

If you need Game Genie codes, it is possible to apply them to the ROM image before you load it. UCON64 supports this. http://ucon64.sourceforge.net/ucon64/readme.html

Thanks for the replies!. Yes indeed roms do seem to work with patched game genie codes for the most part.

I just remember reading a SMD document where it say that some of the cart pins inside of the SMD's weren't connected at all, thus the incompatibility Confused
