SOLD!
I have a Game Doctor SF/SNES III(3.5 floppy/32m unit). I bought this unit back in 1993-1994, and it ran perfectly until I retired it years ago. This unit is in perfect condition and looks brand new. I no longer have my Super Famicom or SNES, so I can't test it out, but it has been stored very well, so I have no doubts it should run fine.
All original items are included, and everything is in great condition. This device does require an AC adapter to run(this wasn't included at retail), and I no longer have one to included. It used a standard Super Famicom power supply(I forget the exact voltage), and those can be found easy enough.
I haven't used this device in a long time, but if I remember correctly, it used 4 memory banks(8megs each). So you could load up four 4meg games, four 8meg games, two 16 meg games, or one 32meg game(or any variation of four that was equal to 32megs). I also have 135 floppy disc, but I'm not sure of the legalities of listing or showing those, so if anyone is interested, I will throw those in for free, but the buyer must cover shipping charges. So once again, if your interested in this item, please PM me with any reasonable offers, or if you need more pics.

Paypal is my accepted payment method! Thanks!

If i am understanding this correctly, then put a game on a floppy disk but it must be in game doctor format. Game Doctors only understand 1 format of file. |

so it'll format disks from the unit?
does it require a lot of time and knowledge? i don't have a lot of either but i do have a lot of games. when i bought it (w/out a manual) i just thought it was a neat thing to have.
thx |

This isn't really hard to do. All you need is a copy of ucon64 (and gui if you prefer). And a floppy drive and PC.
I know I'm getting too technical with the following but I'll put in my two cents about floppies for old copiers from my experience.
I'm not sure if Windows 7 will make a disk that is compatible with the backup device. I had problems with it and my SWC DX so I had to install Windows 98 to get games that are readable by that. I really should test some other copiers so I know what I am talking about. My pro fighter right now is in pieces though. I have a few bung units to test.
I'll try to create a new thread when I find out whether or not the Win7 kernel changes the file structure too much for Bung copiers. As for now, I recommend using ms-dos based o/s for this process and use the ucon tool. I used to always use what is called snestool but it has a lot less features than ucon64.
-- Edit -- And no, I don't mean emulating MS-DOS or Win9x within virtual machine inside of Windows XP/7/Vista/Server because the NT kernel will still take 100% full control over the floppy drive. You will have to use a non-VM environment.
-- End Edit --
We should get back on topic though. This guy is selling a copier that has been well kept and is in near mint condition. You can't go wrong with this sale if you are purchasing a GDSF3. I would recommend purchasing his rather than importing one from either shop. _________________ -amptor |

I will try that.

not a problem except for gui
will try win7 first ... i shouldn't have a problem finding someone still using win98 if that fails.
thx ...
yes, I agree the unit for sale looks pretty nifty |
