Hello,

I have 2 different revisions of the Super Wild Card DX. I upgraded both to the 1995 rom quite a while ago. (not sure if its dumped).

But i tryed to upgrade them to the 96 rom. One works fine with it. The other refuses to boot. I even swapped the eprom chips.. both worked in the unit that boots fine. So i know the eproms are both OK. Plus 95 Rom works in both as well.

It's the same amd 27c020 eprom in 120ns (original chip is 150ns).

So is there a mod or something you need to do to get the 96 rom to work in the older DX units??

i've the dx 96 but have a bit different pcb from original dx, and it have swc 3201 grey surface under and black surface down like dx. I will send you pics of mine.
