Tomy,
WHere do find the SF_1 and SF_2 to dump my 64M Profighter X2 BIOS? Its dated 96 BIOS. It also holds MULTIPLE games in memory after power off just like Game Doctor as long as power supply is connected

What version is it? Size of the Eprom?

Here is Tomy's tool. If I remember correctly it's based on Neviksti's GFDF7's bios exploit and dumps with a 32KB limitiation. Tomy's tools is mapped for the 256Kb bios of the first revisions of the PFXT2 so anything bigger wouldn't dump.
You should use the exploit to determine memory addresses and size of the bios to modify Tomy's tool accordingly and dump the right section.

I have a FX-64 with the lastest bios known for this model: v6.4 from 1996 which is a 1Mb Eprom with built-in Smartcard and CD-Rom functions.

Is your BIOS dumped? I would love to install that in my PFX2. I'm pretty sure it would work. My menu is Chinese only

What would be the advantage of the FX-64 BIOS on a pro fighter?

If its the BIOS I'm thinking of. It has English, background music and IIRC different background images besides scrolling flags. My version is Chinese only. Bigjohn6 on here has or had the cream of the crop pro fighter clone that had a amazing fully finished out BIOS. It was a clone but obviously a highly skilled probably ex CCL employee. Made a beautifully complete 64M BIOS menu. I've been wanting to try that bios in my PFXT2 for a long time.

My BIOS is V6.3 1996 and his is V6.4 1996. They both are 64M and I bet there BIOS are compatible so it would be an awesome upgrade for me. The FX-64 is just a clone of a CCL Pro Fighter. I personally consider my 64M PFXT2 one of my favorite copiers for the SNES/SFC

I posted the bios in this thread:
http://www.tototek.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?p=15538#15538

I meant to do it for a while, thanks for reminding me Wink
You'll need a 27C010 32 pins Eprom for the bios and make sure you have a compatible motherboard revision (written next to the GB slot)

I can now safely say that probably none of those PFXT2/3in1 "clones" actually are, they're official releases. Not only did I find CCL stickers on some of them, I also found their logo on numerous ads.
CCL stopped the production of the Pro Fighter 3in1 as we mostly know it in 1995-1996 but they kept producing and updating it under different brands for local asian distributors.
Here I know 3 different name/distributors that released later versions with English bios:
- The Super Smart Disc at least up to v6
- The Turbo x 64M by Turbo Group up to v6.4
- The FX-64 by World Com up to v6.4

The latest v6.4 has the following functions:
- memory up to 64M
- background music
- store multiple games in memory
- GB/GG bulit in software
- CD-Rom software (accessible when you press R on the menu)

Here are the motherboard revisions that I have:

Super Smart Disc v1.01 (MB05C)

Super Smart Disc v2.02 (MB05D)

Super Smart Disc v6 (MB010C-1 COMP)

FX-64 v6.4 (MB010C)

Can you please post photos of your 64M memory board on both sides?

Absolutely. I'll try to get them up tonight with a few other copiers that im going to sell. Can you post pics of your FX-64 case? My PFXT2 can fit on SFC and SNES without the little pegs that game doctors need and earlier pro fighters

Will do, although I'm pretty sure it's the exact same case.
I've never found the PFX cases to stand properly on any SNES model, the previous Pro Fighters were much better in that regard IMO.

When I get a chance I show you my PFXT2 case. It has built in pegs that allow it to fit on SFC and SNES without using supports (like CD cases, pegs ect..) Its a different case than normal Pro Fighter X's, Double Pro Fighters, and earlier Pro FIghter X Turbo's. Its actually pretty innovative design and I never seen another one like it. Just wondering if yours was the same. I have all the copiers stated above so I know what a pain it is to run a Pro FIghter on a SNES

Thanks for pointing that out, I just realized how dumb I was as I lately was using the PFX/DPF cart adapter on the FX-64 which gives the result below... Confused
It's indeed stable on a US SNES with the proper one. I must have got the wrong adapter with one Smart Disc or the FX-64.

Both cart adapters are almost the same but different height due to deeper bottom cases on the PFX/DPF.

So to answer your questions, both the Smart Disc and FX-64 have those little pegs, I guess the Turbo X does too.

Which mainboard of the various CCL copiers is the final revision?

MB010C-1 COMP or MB010C ?
