| Nice collectors item, but you should mention that this famicom copier (and so called mini pc) only can do 4 different NES game mappers (out of around 30 or so). So lots of games have gfx glitches or dont run at all. Nice unit anyways, surly interesting for collectors. |

There is 256 mappers of wich are 128 are used to map NES games. So, doing just 4 mappers isn't really many. The table below shows the mappers that the PowerPAK can do (green). Would be interesting to know which 4 mappers the Doctor PC jr does.

I don't know the exact 4 mappers anymore but it's all 1st generation stuff. I would hazard a guess that it's about as usefull (mapper wise) as your tipical Famicom copier.
Anyway, I'm sure many people know there are much more functional implementations of the Famicom, so whatever you decide to spend is purely for collectings sake. That is, unless your a kid who wants to "A dream computer that's PC data compatable.", and types Chineses in a flash! (^_^); |

| IIRC it's mappers 0-4 (with 0 not being a mapper, is that right?), which account to the majority of NES games. I don't know the numbers, but I think that means compatibility somewhere in the 80% range. |
