|
|
I've been thinking about getting a Doctor SF7, and have been wondering something. Is its cartridge connector (the part that fits into the console) designed to fit the cartridge slot of the SNES or the SFC (Japanese SNES), or is it a "universal" cartridge connector so it would fit the cartridge slots of both consoles?
And is its own cartridge slot designed to fit SNES game cartridges or SFC cartridges, or both? |

That's funny. The site gamedoctorhk.com claims it works only with the Japanese SFC console, even though it works with both US and JP region games.
But thanks, it's nice to know it's universa on BOTH connectors. I was about ready to cut up the case on my SNES to make it fit Japanese cartridges, or spend $100 to get an SFC in preparation for buying the Doctor SF7. I'm glad I don't have to do either of these things. |

| Cutting the plastic blocking pieces in the SNES is extremely easy anyway, I did it when i imported SFC games. |
