I'am currently trying to sell my SMC as *non-working* ...

... because the screen stay's black after loading a rom file.

To find out a little more about this error, i was testing my SMC with my RetroDuo-SNES-Clone Console today:

I inserted the SMC into the Console - a Super Mario World jap. Cartride was inserted into the SMC - turned on the Console and the SMC Startscreen appeared. It said:

RAM: 16
ROM: 8
Inter SRAM

All right so far. I tried formatting an 3,5" Disc to 1,44 MB - No Problems.
I backupped the jap. Mario World Cartridge to the FLoppy Disk - No Problems.

I then tried to run the file and loaded the backup from the disk into the memory - Black screen.

Is the RAM broken? Is there any other explanation? The SMC has always worked fine. Is there anyway to test the ram?
