You've got competition with me.
But I am curious as to when hobbyists will finish with their new USB Flash Linker. _________________ I'll be here twice a week.

There's some I saw on assemblergames forum people were looking into it and saying that the original carts even are flash type but nobody ever made a writer for them.
Personally I think the orinal carts are hybrid EEPROM and flashram inside the chip but I'm not sure to be honest.
Anyway I'm still looking. So far I bought one game and haven't used the system much. I will probably buy a couple more some games are rare and about $100 so that is a bit much lol like the game Cotton. _________________ -amptor |

You should look at that thread again. There have been developments since the discussion you mention. Check out the videos and such.

They are only flash memory. They are writable, but only small areas to store the save-game data. |

The Flav posts here?
(Personally, emulation is pretty good, but I'd like to have a save dumper for the actual console. Also makes for a great companion for those who only have a single MotM cart or want to try dowsing in CFC2.) _________________ I'll be here twice a week.
