Well this is just silly. At a first glance, this looks just like a genesis on a chip and is mearely taking the power from the SNES deck but not even using the SNES for anything at all besides power. But I see the description states that you control the games with the SNES pad so I guess it interfaces there somehow too. Would have been better if they were using the SNES av out instead of adding more cables to the setup. Rolling Eyes

There is also one to play NES on SNES called Retroport. The RetroDuo portable system supposedly comes with this adapter.

It's a waste of money, basically is a GOAC and it uses the SNES controllers. Lots of compatibility issues with it. Genesis consoles are so cheap these days I don't see the point in owning some knockoff crap with compatibility and audio issues.

I think the purpose is to keep it compact rather than lugging out a full blown console. Other than that, my Genesis model 2 (which actually turned out to be a very nice system even without the Sony video chip), cost me only $25 shipped on ebay and it works great.

I'm not really fond of these "on a chip" systems. I was disappointed that they started making these rather than an actual clone of the real chips on the systems. It cheapens it quite a great deal and the compatability and other issues it may have just makes it seem like they aren't worth buying. This is without me even trying one.

Also there's a bunch of handheld variants which is the same thing in a different form factor. I think I'm better off with a PSP and an emulator.
