If i change the ntsc CIC chip for a pal chip do i then have to put a ntsc game in the cartridge slot to boot ntsc roms ? (the reversal of the standard unit)

This is the way it works on Pro Fighters and Wildcards (with jumpers on 2,4,6 for this one). There is no jumper settings on any UFO as I remember.
