Hi all. I'm looking for a Doctor V64 to test an experimental BIOS on to add support for DVD and Blu-ray data discs. Normally, the unit can only read CDs even when a DVD-ROM or BD-ROM drive is installed.

I'd be happy with the most beat-up, just-barely-working unit anybody has as long it works enough for my testing. I'd also consider a trade of sorts: a loan of a V64 in exchange for the return of the unit to the owner with the new BIOS installed (or, if I'm unsuccessful, the original BIOS).

I'm basing the modifications on the final official BIOS (2.03) and if everything works out I'll post everything somewhere online.
