I've recently aquired a Thunder Boy copier. It's also called Super Tools Max 1600.
The device is available in various configurations (16M, 24M, 32M) Bios dates from 1993 to 1995.
My model has 24M and the BIOS is copyright 1994.
I'm looking for the Parallel Port transfer software. According to an unknown source the file is called SU.EXE - if anyone has it, please share it. Thank you

The Thunder Boy doesn't have an onscreen menu. You have to push button combinations to access its features. A scrolling help text appears after a few seconds. Here is a rough translation:
| Code: | Operation instructions:
*Game-related B button
B: load game from disk
Up + B: Gold Finger cheat function
*SRAM-related Y button:
Y: load game with SRAM from disk
Up + Y: Save SRAM to disk
*cartridge-related Start button
Start: play cartridge game
Up + Start: save cartridge to disk
Up + Select: format disk 1.6M
Press L + R + Select to show the diagnostics screen

Here, you go, I believe it's the last version of Send Utility Pro. I'm convinced this copier is a pro fighter clone so you should try with uCON64 first.
Another thing you could check out is to dump a small game lorom/hirom and compare the header or checksum with uCON64 so see if it is indeed using the PF format.

Someone on this forum posted this PCB a while ago. It's very similar to the early PF. On the bottom right U19 is most probably for the DSP.
The one question that remains is regarding that 4 position switch between the power input and the parallel port. Without a picture of the bottom of the PCB it's hard to tell but it looks like is putting something to +5V or 0V.

Thanks for sharing
Originally I thought the switch is for the Parallel I/O. However you are right, it has to do with power.
2=on, 1=on (that was the setting when I received my unit):
FDD does not require an external power supply. Instead it's getting power from the SNES. When I connect a power supply to the Thunder Boy, the SNES will turn on - even when its power switch is in the OFF position!
2=on, 1=off:
device requires an external power supply for the FDD.
2=off, 1=off:
FDD does not work at all.
2=off, 1=on:
FDD does not require an external power supply. SNES does NOT turn on when a power supply is connected to the Thunder Boy.
The switch isn't connected on the bottom of the pcb
on my unit the parts for the DSP chip aren't populated.
The device does play DSP ROMs though, as long as a DSP game is in the cartridge slot.
I was able to transfer ROMs (Pro Fighter header) with SU.EXE.
Unfortunately Ucon64 didn't work for me. The games started with a black screen or an error message. Dumps didn't work either.

Cool info thanks. Your board is an earlier revision with a Motorola FDC.
PCB manufacturing is closer to a Super Wild Card actually.
When you say dumps didn't work, you mean by parallel transfer or even floppy?

cartridge dumping via parallel transfer with Ucon64 didn't work.
cartridge dumping to floppy drive does work fine. However my PC cannot read disks formatted by the Thunder Boy.

| If it's convenient, could you please add the before and after pictures of the interface so that I can remake it myself, because I lost the interface card.
