Dream Writer for SMS / GameGear 95/98/Me/XP/2000 version 1.2 ( 5.6M )

It have 4 major function parts on this application program:-

• Write Program from PC to Flash area.

• Backup Program from Flash area to PC.

• Write Data/Information from PC to RAM area.

• Read Data/Information from RAM area to PC.

Button Function

  Write Card button: Program Single/Multi Games to Flash area.


  Backup Card button: Backup Flash Card Data from Flash area to PC.


  Read RAM button: Read RAM Data from Flash Card RAM area to PC.


  Write RAM button: Write RAM Data from PC to Flash Card RAM area.

Setup button: If choose this button, the configuration window will opened,
   you can change program setting.
include :
             - Multi-game Header File path,
               * You could chose SMSDBUGx.SMS file for run on Master System console, or 
                  GGDBUGx.GG file for run on Game Gear console.
             - ROMS directory path
             - SAVERS directory path
             - Printer/Parallel Ports I/O

  Exit button: Exit this application program.


  Add GAME button: This button use to Add one Game/Program item to list wait for program.

  Delete GAME item button: delete Selected item from the list.


  Delete All button : delete All item from the list.
　

Create a single game item

1) Choose One game item on left table window.
2) Click Add GAME button, the Right List show about its detail.
3) If you want to use normal speed write card,  you may turn off the button  at bottom name call Program turbo mode.
4) If you want disable verify function, you mat turn off the button at bottom name call Verify after program.
5) Click Write Card button and write game to flash card.
　

Create a Multi-games item

1) Choose a game on left table window.
2) Click Add Game button Or Double Click the game item on left table window, the right List window will show about its detail.
3) Repeat step 1 & 2 ,if want to add more games. Please make sure enough free space on card. show below

4) When click game details items on right list window, the Option dialog box will show this game additional indication. show below

5)Here is 3 main function:

• SAVER
  - It have 4 save area for choose.
  - When click enable label for turn on saver function.
• Cheat Code
  - You can add address/data pair code before game running.
  - Before you entry the code pair, that Click Add button to confirm the codes, 
    this codes will be appended to the cheat code table.
  - If you want to delete this codes from table, you could double click this codes at the code table.
  - Click the ENABLE button for active this process.

 

6) After complete all items setting, Click Write Card button and write game to flash card.

7) Write Card complete.

Backup Data from Flash Card

 1) First, choose a new file name to save.
 2) select Flash area show below, and click OK to begin process.

** Don't backup Original GAME card use this function **

Write Data/Information from PC to RAM

1)  First, choose a new file name to save.
2)  select RAM area show below, and click OK to begin process. 
 * Note:   there is eight segment address include  00000, 04000, 08000, 0C000, 10000, 14000, 18000, 1C000.
- saver region 0 data store at segment address 00000 to 07FFF, Mean segment address 00000 is used for begin of saver region 0.
- saver region 1 data store at segment address 08000 to 0FFFF, Mean segment address 08000 is used for begin of saver region 1.
- saver region 2 data store at segment address 10000 to 17FFF, Mean segment address 10000 is used for begin of saver region 2.
- saver region 3 data store at segment address 18000 to 1FFFF, Mean segment address 18000 is used for begin of saver region 3.
** Don't select segment address 020000 at windows ** 

Read Data/Information from RAM to PC.

1)  First, choose a *.ggs file name for upload to Card.
2)  select RAM area begin address and End address from window show below, and click OK to begin process.
 * Note:   there is eight segment address include  00000, 04000, 08000, 0C000, 10000, 14000, 18000, 1C000.
- saver region 0 data store at segment address 00000 to 07FFF, If you want to backup saver region 0, please select beginning address is 00000 and ending address is 08000.
- saver region 1 data store at segment address 08000 to 0FFFF, If you want to backup saver region 1, please select beginning address is 08000 and ending address is 10000.
- saver region 2 data store at segment address 10000 to 17FFF, If you want to backup saver region 2, please select beginning address is 10000 and ending address is 18000.
- saver region 3 data store at segment address 18000 to 1FFFF, If you want to backup saver region 3, please select beginning address is 18000 and ending address is 20000.
-If you want to backup all data from RAM save, please choose beginning address is 00000 and ending address is 20000.
** Don't select beginning address 020000 at windows **
