It can use the PS1 to upload roms to a V64jr, but what about a GDSF7? I'm guessing probably not but does anyone know for sure? That would be pretty sweet if it could given that one of my modded PS1s keeps my SFC company. |

It only works with a PS1 and Bung DrGB gameboy carts as well as a V64jr. Does not work with a GDSF7, but that would be nice if it did. I have been looking for one of these for a while but everywhere that even mentions them don't sell them and I never see them on ebay in any country... |

| I dont see any advantages using this device over the 'conventional' units we have already. Its far more convenient to use the GameBoy XChanger and/or a Doctor V64. And really anyone has a PC. |

I want this thing so I don't have to use a PC when using my Doctor GB 64mb carts as well as my V64jr 512mb.
trouble is, I haven't been able to find one of these. |

I would want it if it worked with GDSF7 because when I upgraded my PC last time, the new PC I have doesn't have a parallel port. So I can not send ROMs to it. And when I tried using an older computer I had I could not get it to reliably send files no matter what mode the port was in.
It would be very nice if I could just link the PS1 to the GDSF7 and send ROMs to it that way. But sounds like that is a no go. While it is nice to have a PC to just send the ROMs from, a PC is bulky and not easy to fit next to my SFC. Plus the whole problem that the older PC I have fails transfers when I try. The PC I had before I gave away so I can't use it despite that it worked very well for sending ROMs. I'm going to have to search around and maybe I can find something to use, a laptop would be ideal but people want too much even for some really old laptops like a pentium 1. |

Yeah I'd agree. I never saw the point in buying the multi xchanger, its features were rather limited and disappointing at the time plus I didn't ever want to buy a PSOne and I'm glad I never bought one of those pieces of crap. Was hoping that Bung would have put out some more interesting products at the time because they were really shaping up in QC opposed to previous products such as their gdsf series and doctor v64 which is laughable too. Their gameboy and gameboy advance products were pretty top notch. _________________ -amptor |

I agree. I dont like having to move my PC around everytime I play N64 with my v64Jjr 512M. My CD64 is doing some strange stuff nowadays so it not an easy solution. |
