Hi all I need some advice. I recently bought a Pro fighter X Turbo for my PAL SNES £15 GBP with a load of discs with games. Some work and some discs are corrupt. I am trying to get roms of the net and get them to run on the Pro fighter X Turbo.
The games I have tried is:
Mario Kart
Secret of Mana
StarFox
Mario is missing.
Mario Kart I can get to the Nintendo Logo and it freezes. Mario is Missing is running, but some screens and stuff is messed up and garbled. starfox and mana wont run.
I dont know the correct power supply, but I am using a universal adaptor on 9v, is this the right voltage for a Pro fighter X Turbo??? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

| Mario Kart is a DSP game. It will not work unless your copier supports DSP which I don't know if it does. Star Fox is a SuperFX game. It will not work on your copier or any other copier. Mario is Missing and Secret of Mana should work. You may want to use UCON64 to convert the roms to FIG format and then split the ROM if it needs to be put on more than one floppy cause it won't fit on one. I would recommend taking a game like Super Castlevania or Gradius III and converting that to FIG format with UCON64 and testing those as they will fit on 1 floppy. Also you may want to try brand new floppy disks not used ones. |

Hey, thanks for your reply. Using Ucon64 worked perfectly to convert the rom to the fighter pro format. Then I used SNESTool to split the files and convert to PAL, this was on Secret of Mana. Also mario kart worked fine on the fighter pro, and when I press start it says DSP is on, so I guess it means it is DSP compatible.
Thanks again. |
