Hey kazmat, I see you wired up a miniSD or microSD adapter to the board instead of an SD socket. I was thinking about doing this too. Can you just jumper the SD_PRESENT and SD_WR_PROTECT when doing this?
Edit: Nevermind. After reading some of Jeff's forum posts, I've found that these pins are no longer used by the unit. |

I finally built my hxc emulator for my SMD !
Jeff has made great improvement , now with the new floppy format 3.38mb i can load a 24mb roms in one file spliting is over now (except for 32 mb and over) but it seems that there is no limit in the reading capability of the SMD , so maybe in the future it will be possible ...
I think not any commercial floppy emulator can actualy do that _________________ Gogo alias Greatfunky |

Why is it 3.38mb? If he could manage to fit over 32mbits in a page that would be sweet for copiers. |

In one of these thread Jeff said :
"the floppy emulator can emulate 4.4MB floppies but it's a hack and some systems don't support this trick" i'm pretty sure that the SMD and other copiers can read that . .. so i'll ask him to do that unfortunally my SMD is only 24mg so i'll have to test it on my double profighter or gdsf7 _________________ Gogo alias Greatfunky |

@kazmat, your second prototype have only 2 x 74XXX, did you remove 2 of them or are they at the bottom |
