| You should use one that's rated 7-12V, the higher the input voltage, the more that has to be regulated to 5V by the regulator. Under load it should measure the same since your supply should be capable of delivering over 850mA of current. |

Your old power supply's +,- is right?
Game Doctor power plug outside is +(+V), inside is -(Ground).
maybe your power supply plug outside is Ground,check out it.

Yep my power supply is - Centre. I tried a 9V DC 1.1A and it still doesnt work?
