Hi, has anyone been able to run NHL 94 on a SF6? I'm able to load and run numerous other games but NHL 94 won't run for me. The intro screen comes up fine but when I press start I just get a black screen.

Just trying to figure out if I'm missing something or if I'm not the only one with this problem. Any help is appreciated.

FYI just posting this in case someone else experiences the same issue in the future.. So I received 3 different versions of the game and all 3 didn't work as originally posted; the intro screen worked but after pressing start you can't get past a black screen. It dawned on me that this might be an issue with the system so I decided to try it on my snes instead of the super famicom and it works perfectly now.

If the game was not released in Japan it is possible that the game suffers from a hardware bug that was fixed in later hardware revisions. Maybe your Super Famicom is the early HW version and your SNES is a later bug fixed version. Or maybe just in general the game suffers this bug and got past quality control.
