Try but it won't work I assure you, I have tried over 5 different models and they simply do not work.

Just for the hell of it, tried this PCMCIA to Parallel card (free trial):

and it doesn't work of course...

Instead of PCMCIA cards, any one have luck using USB to LPT port adapters?

You would probably have even less luck with these. They don't work.
