I bought one of these a couple years ago from Tomy and I love it so much. Apart from being an interesting conversation piece with my nerdier friends, it's been 100% solid and dependable for the years I've had it and used it.

One minor point to keep in mind, I'm not much of a gamer. I probably could have saved a little money and waited to buy a memory upgrade. I don't leave it plugged in when I'm not using it anyway. If you use your SNES a lot, go ahead and get more memory. If you don't, look at the size of the games you want to play, then buy memory as you need it.

Overall, this is totally worth the investment if you want one. Tomy is doing a great job of taking care of these, and if you buy one it will last for a long time.
